Weekly Drop-In Workshops at National Glass Centre's Pop Up Shop

Ground Floor, Sunderland City Library and Arts Centre

All sessions are located on the ground floor of the Sunderland City Library & Arts Centre. Suggested donation £1 per session.

Glass Painting Family workshop

Every other Wednesday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm (6 & 27 Feb, 13 Mar, 10, 17 & 24 Apr, 8 & 22 May)

Pop along to our fortnightly family workshop at the National Glass Centre’s Pop Up Shop, located on the ground floor of the Sunderland City Library & Arts Centre. 

Help your child create their first ever glass painting to take home and treasure. 

Suitable for ages 18 months+, children must be accompanied by an adult

Facet-Cut Fanzine-Club

Every other Wednesday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.  (13 Feb, 6 & 20 Mar, 1 & 15 May 2013)

Please Note: Session on 17 April has been replaced with a Glass Painting Session.

Why not try our fanzine club every fortnight at the National Glass Centre’s Pop Up Shop, located on the ground floor of the Sunderland City Library & Arts Centre.

Using collage techniques to create your own Fanzine inspired by Sunderland's rich glassmaking heritage.

Knit and Stitch Circle

Every Friday, 1-3pm. (not 22 February or 29 May)

Join us for a weekly needlecraft club at the National Glass Centre’s Pop Up Shop, located on the ground floor of the Sunderland City Library & Arts Centre.

Beginners are welcome and basic knitting supplies will be provided, as well as teas and coffees.
