Stuck for original and creative ideas for Christmas gifts? Why not drop into the National Glass Centre to create Christmas themed crafts with the help of professional artists?  Make your own Christmas Gift Tags, Hand Painted Christmas Baubles and Candle Stick Holders and Ready Made Christmas Jewellery (crafted from ‘found’ materials). Take part in one, two or all three activities. All materials provided. All participating children must be accompanied by an adult.

Carolyn Kaye – Little Cherub Design 

Christmas Gift Tags - Carolyn will help you decorate a set of up to eight tags to take home using luggage style tags that are then adorned with fancy papers, ribbon, and buttons cut outs. Suitable for age 6+.

Carol Nicholson – Art of Glass 

Hand Painted Christmas Baubles and Candle Stick Holders - Learn basic glass decorating techniques to create stunning original baubles and candle stick holders. Suitable for adults.

Janet Hinchliffe McCutcheon 

Ready Made Christmas Jewellery - Colourful, fun, & spontaneous. Make a brooch, pendant or earrings from everyday ‘found’ materials. Exploit the bright colours and graphics on printed cans and packaging. Suitable for age 12+.
