The National Glass Centre is proud to present a Sunderland Photographic Association exhibition, this year focusing on the banks and environs of the River Wear. Works highlight the industrial heritage and current conditions of this once thriving working river, and the future developments that can be seen along its length within the Borough of Sunderland to the National Glass Centre and the coast beyond.
Founded in 1888 the Sunderland Photographic Association has lead and promoted developments in the photographic world to the people of Sunderland, with the aim to simply help its members enjoy their photography.
