"I’m a Textile and Jewellery maker, working in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. My work revolves around an innovative process that I recently developed. It combines glass and knitting and fuses them together to create a unique composite textile. The jewellery collection encapsulates the essence of the two fused materials."
Kate Holdsworth

Surprise and humour are integral to each piece of jewellery she makes, incorporating miniature figures from tigers to penguins to circus performers. "The main concept behind my pieces of jewellery is that they should be unique and meaningful. This can be achieved by taking a piece of paper that has sentimental or special value to an individual and creating an exclusive piece of jewellery."
