NGC has been working with the community of Sunderland to remember the changing history and industries; past, present and future of the River Wear.
The ‘Riverscape’ exhibition brings together the stories and memories of individuals whose lives have been shaped by the industries of the River Wear - coal, glass and shipbuilding, alongside the ideas, thoughts and responses of those who continue to live and work in the area today.
