Wearing Glass focuses on glass as a key material in contemporary jewellery and body adornment.

Thirty nine exhibitors and their collaborators were chosen following an open invitation to submit images. The selection panel included 27fishes, a group of independent artists and curators, together with a representative of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery.

This exhibition illustrates the fascination glass has for many artists from different creative backgrounds, training and countries, including jewellers, gold and silversmiths, product designers, sculptors and glass artists.

Wearing Glass opened in October 2005 at the.gallery@oxo, Southbank, London.
