UNDERCURRENT, a selection of images from leading AV artists D-Fuse, is an investigation of the urban spaces of river - based cities in China [Shanghai, Guangzhou + Chongqing] and the UK [Sunderland]. D-Fuse’s lines of enquiry follow the river as a medium for travel, transport, trade and communication and detect the change of economic models in post-industrial cities and the effects this has on the nature and use of urban space.
