Intensive glass blowing weekend
Ideal for people new to glass or for those with a little experience, this three day course will concentrate on various glass making techniques. Participants will learn about gathering, blocking, marvering, making paper weights, blowing baubles, attaching punties and basic colour application (powders and grains). Working in pairs, participants will develop their skills and create their own work to take away at the end of the Course.

Sara Jo Harrison joined National Glass Centre in 2012 to support the Centre's marketing and Communications strategy.
My work uses a range of media which acknowledges the interface between both traditional practice and new media.
