NGC welcomes visits from schools and community groups.

We run a series of workshops in our Education Room and Glass Studio that can be tailored to the needs of your group or class. These include glass mosaics, glass painting and sandblasting along with time spent in the Contemporary Gallery.  We can also arrange bespoke sessions.

Sessions usually run on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10am until 12 noon.

Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Self-Led Visits for School Groups

It is free for groups to visit under their own steam. A range of information and supporting materials are available (please visit the Schools page). Suggested activities include a tour of our exhibitions, visiting the Kaleidoscope Gallery, and don't forget to walk on our glass roof! You may also include a glassmaking demonstration with commentary in your visit, in our newly refurbished Hot Glass Studio.

Self-led groups can book the NGC Education Room to use for storage of belongings, lunch and any other activities, for a cost of £25 (subject to availability).

Booking is still essential.
