Every workshop that we offer for primary schools will cover a number of areas of the curriculum. Glass is an ideal material to approach STEAM subjects, as well as local history and human geography.
At National Glass Centre we use glass to help young people explore STEAM subjects. We encourage creativity and using our exhibitions as inspiration children learn about the art, science and history of glass. Our learning and engagement team are all Arts and Design graduates and share their knowledge, skills and enthusiasm for creative learning when they facilitate these exciting school workshops.
We develop our workshops in collaboration with teachers, to ensure our sessions support the curriculum and engage a variety of learning styles. We are happy to tailor sessions to your current topic of study.
