Tricia Green

Tricia works in both glass and ceramics. The majority of her glass pieces are kiln-cast using plaster moulds and then polished and finished by hand. Tricia also produces textured glass panels, functional tableware and glass jewellery. In her ceramic work she tends to use porcelain or paperclay and her ceramic pieces tend to be of a decorative nature and on a much smaller scale.

Tricia takes her inspiration from nature and organic forms, focusing on "the wonders that nature has created, which we often pass by and seldom have the time to stop and investigate".

Tricia is a keen photographer and often visits the Northumberland coast when she has time away from her studio at the National Glass Centre and her studies at University of Sunderland.
