This summer our Shop Showcase features two very different artists working in Glass and Ceramics.
David Ashby makes ceramic objects for the home – plates, jugs, mugs and vases. He combines text and imagery to produce a wonderful surface with embossed and scratched lettering, colours and messages.
Jane Dzisiewski’s hand moulded resin and silver jewellery is inspired by architecture and the built environment. These precious looking pieces look deceptively like they are made of stone and natural materials. In fact they are created using new technologies in her studio in Manchester.
