Two day class in fused 'float' glass
Creative use of the most economical glass – float (or window) glass! Capture the beauty and simplicity of fused glass by using frits, powders, paints, enamel pens, and stencilling. By layering and cutting you will create coloured artworks and installations to stunning effect. Learn how to create texture and mould glass through clay forming, plaster moulding and slumping techniques. Students will also learn about firing schedules, suppliers and wall fixings.
